Is the music on NoCopyrightID really free to use?
Yes, 100%. All music on NoCopyrightID is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use in content creation. You can use it in YouTube videos, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Twitch streams, podcasts, short films, and more — without paying any licensing fees.
Will I get a copyright strike if I use this music?
No. All tracks on NoCopyrightID are cleared of Content ID claims. However, to maintain this protection, you must credit the artist in your video description using the credit format provided on each track page.
What credit do I need to give?
Each track page displays the exact credit text you need to copy into your video description. It typically looks like: "Music by [Artist Name] — NoCopyrightID | https://nocopyrightid.com/track/[slug]". Always use the specific credit from the track page.
Can I use the music in monetized videos?
Yes! You can fully monetize your videos while using NoCopyrightID music. That's exactly what this platform is built for — allowing creators to earn revenue on their content without music licensing interfering.
Can I use the music in paid advertisements or commercial projects?
Yes, for digital content. If you need the music for broadcast TV, film distribution, or physical products, please contact us first.
Downloading
Do I need to create an account to download music?
You can browse and stream all music without an account. To download, you'll need to create a free account. Registration takes under 30 seconds.
What formats are available for download?
All tracks are available in MP3 (compressed, smaller file), WAV (lossless, professional quality), and FLAC (lossless compressed). Every track also includes an instrumental version in all three formats.
Is there a download limit?
No download limits. Download as many tracks in as many formats as you need, as often as you want.
Artists & Submissions
Can I submit my own music to NoCopyrightID?
Yes! If you produce original music, you can apply to become a NoCopyrightID artist. Submit your portfolio through your dashboard. Applications are reviewed by our team. If approved, you'll become a Hired Artist and can submit tracks with full stems and proof of ownership.
Will I get paid if my music is on the platform?
Yes. Once approved, you'll receive a financial offer for each track. You can accept or decline. We also support Stripe tipping so fans can support you directly.
What happens after I submit a track?
Our team reviews the track, stems, and proof of ownership. If approved, a digital contract is sent for your e-signature. Once signed, the track goes live on the platform.
Account & Privacy
What data do you collect?
We collect your email address, download history (to let you re-access your downloads), and playlist data. We do not sell your data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us via the Contact page and we'll permanently delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.
